“It was very traumatising,” he told Premier Christianity. “I live in a cul-de-sac, so everybody could see what was happening.”

The regulator has serious ongoing concerns about the charity’s administration, governance, and the financial relationship with its two subsidiary companies, World Conquerors Christian Centres and Kingdom Church.

The charity was subject to a books and records check at the charity’s premises in August 2019, which revealed further concerns, including that the charity did not have adequate records of its assets, despite significant expenditure on musical and audio-visual equipment.
